Fragrance Workshop
The other day we had a fragrance workshop in uni. In the workshop we learnt how to make our own perfume using heart notes, accessory notes, functional notes and harmoniser notes.
The Heart Notes: The heart notes are the character of the fragrance. You need three materials in the heart notes and about 120 drops of those materials. We chose to use Jasmine, Orchid and Naturelle as our heart notes.
The Accessory Notes: The accessory notes enhance the fragrance. There can be up to three accessory notes added using 50-75 drops. We decided we only needed two accessory notes added to our perfume and we chose to use Citrus and Herbal.
The Functional Notes: The functional notes consist of one or two materials and 60-75 drops. For our functional not we used musk.
The Harmoniser Notes: The harmoniser notes are made up of one or two materials also, using 50-75 drops. We went for Bergamont for our harmoniser note.
