New York: Day 1
6:00 am: Coach to London Heathrow, how to overcome the small space between you and the seats in front, and comfortable share a bag of snacks? Tie the bag handles onto the nets. Sorted.
The rest of the journey from there on, consisted of sleep, eating, films and music, and hands up to Delta Airlines for making my first journey in a couple of years on a plane, and without my parents to add, a pretty good experience, plus those vegan meals were actually the best.

4:00 pm: Arrived at JFK. First photo taken in America - yellow cabs - never want to leave already.

6:00 pm: Arrive at The Wolcott Hotel. The hotel had a cosy and elaborately decorated lobby with comfortable chairs to take a break in. After getting our room keys we headed up to our room on the 7th floor and dropped our stuff off. The room was simple, and a good size, with two televisions as the room was separated into two sections, 1 bed by the bathroom and two through an arch way, separate to the bathroom and other bed. The beds by the way, were the comfiest beds I've ever slept in, in a hotel!
Once we'd unpacked a bit and got changed, we headed out to explore Times Square, taking the stairs down this time rather than the lift to get the full feel for the hotel. How nice are these stairs down into the lobby though?

7:30 pm: Times Square, and boy was it cold! We walked all around Times Square, not particularly paying attention to where we were going, it's easy to get around anyway. Five minutes into the walk we started to regret the outfit choices, gloves came out, and then about another five minutes later we started to lose feeling in our legs, we still powered on though, it was worth it! By the time we took these photo's we were so cold that once we had taken them we had to rush into Forever 21 (not for shopping I promise!) to warm up for the walk back to the hotel.
