Alexa Chung: The Future of Fashion
Monday 2nd in film club we watched a film where Alexa Chung found out about the different job roles and skill sets within the fashion industry. She also found out about the seasonal process of fashion factors involved in the supply chain and essential attributes of an FCP student.

Christopher Kane did internships when he was studying at CSM, unpaid but in his eyes he was being paid with the immense knowledge and meeting people and watching them work.
Fashion is Psychology
The Fashion Psychology course at UAL is the only course to study psychology in fashion and its aim is to produce graduates who can help make the fashion industry more ethical and caring and more sustainable.
Caryn Franklin got into fashion by accident in the 80′s, it wasn't classed as a proper job. People didn't know English designers until the clothes show that people got excited about fashion.
Fashion is emotional, its an identity, its a persona.

Personally this is such a wonderful documentary that gives an insight into the fashion industry, and as I am doing a course that will help me achieve my ambition in becoming apart of the fashion industry it is brilliant to show people the different job roles and the importance of the industry, especially as i can relate to it and the comments that some people have when you mention that you are studying something within fashion, I highly recommend watching.
