All dressed up, with nowhere to go. Stood up, the plans got cancelled, they have been delayed, what else is there to do but sit in a chair and pass the time with pure and complete boredom, with a minimal wall behind, to match the chair, making the whole scene more tedious, either that or its a grand house with books to help pass the time, but who can be bothered with that?
The whole idea of using a chair as a prop for these campaigns/editorials is as boring and lazy as the shoots themselves are trying to be, its over-used and tiring, its an obvious tactic but with no thought behind it itself. The only thing making the shoots are the garment colours and the angling of the chair, at least its not head on.

The chair has been used in editorials over and over again, and everyone will carry on to do so, when they can’t seem to think of anything better to use.
Location: Minimal walled background or a grand gesture in a grand house
Story: Dressed up with nowhere to go
